The Detroit Lions revealed on Sunday morning the performing act for the 2026 Thanksgiving Day halftime show, and it’s one of the bigger names they’ve ever landed.
Legendary hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan will perform at halftime of the Lions vs. Bears on November 26.
“Our Thanksgiving Day Classic is one of the greatest traditions in sports, and Wu-Tang Clan is one of the greatest performers in music,” Lions team President and CEO Rich Haddad said in a written statement. “We are thrilled to have Wu-Tang headlining
our Thanksgiving halftime show and grateful to Marshall (Mathers) and Paul (Rosenberg) for their partnership.”
The Wu-Tang Clan is finishing up their global farewell tour, which is culminating in the group being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later this month.
Last year, the Lions hired Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg to serve as executive producer for the team’s Thanksgiving halftime shows for the foreseeable future. Last year, both Eminem and local rock and roll star Jack White served as the 2025 entertainment for the annual holiday game.
