The Braves made a trade on Tuesday.
However, it was more minor roster shuffling than anything. Waldichuk was actually claimed last week by Atlanta while Wisely was DFA’d. So this simply was to make room on the roster. However, now with Vidal Brujan and Brett Wisely no longer on the roster, it will be interesting to see what Atlanta may do for organizational
infield depth.

In his most recent episode of Fair Territory, Ken Rosenthal discussed the latest developments in the Braves TV contract and if it would impact their spending. While Rosenthal did not give a direct answer, he did point to the signing of Tyler Kinley has proof the Braves are still looking to add.

In the same episode, Rosenthal discusses that after the Cubs signed Alex Bregman, the focus is now on Cody Bellinger and Kyle Tucker, the latter of whom is being pursued by some of baseball’s biggest spenders.
The Yankees continue to try and work with Bellinger on a deal, but they seem less optimistic to resign him than in the past.
