Coach status update

Three things to know (via Bayern’s official website):
- The upcoming Klassiker will be the 141st meeting between the two sides since the Bundesliga’s inception.
- Dortmund boasts the best defensive record in all of Europe’s top five leagues, with only four goals conceded so far.
- Against second-placed teams, Bayern is undefeated in 21 games as the league leader.
Prediction
Bayern wins 2-1. This will be a tightly contested match, similar to the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup a few months ago. Harry Kane and Michael Olise will score, before yet another sloppy defensive error in the final minutes will make for a nervy finish. Bayern will still hold on for the win, however.
