Some places do power rankings. Here at Cageside, we do a stock report.
In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu taking a big plunge, Michin and B-Fab turning heel to join Jade Cargill, and Kit Wilson reading a poem about Jelly Roll’s tiny penis, a lot of fortunes were changed.
With that in mind, let’s see whose stock decreased
the most this week:
Stock Down #3: Maxxine Dupri
After getting decimated by Nattie a few weeks ago in a match that was stopped by the referee, babyface Maxxine Dupri returned to the ring on this week’s Raw and tapped out to Nattie’s Sharpshooter. Maxxine hasn’t won a match on Raw or PLE in 2026, and it doesn’t look like that’s about to change before WrestleMania.
Stock Down #2: MFT
Solo Sikoa’s MFT lost the WWE tag team championship on SmackDown in their first title defense, in part because JC Mateo was more concerned about securing the Wyatt lantern than winning the match. Later in the show, an angry Solo Sikoa scolded his family by shouting, “You might as well say goodbye to WrestleMania!”
Tama Tonga then questioned Solo’s decision-making, said he’s starting to sound like Roman Reigns, and that he should give the lantern back. The outlook for MFT as a faction gets worse if Tama is about to split from the group, which this may be leading to.
Stock Down #1: Matt Cardona
WWE fans care so little about this jabroni that they actually chanted “One more time!” after Randy Orton seemingly broke his left arm with a steel chair on SmackDown. That was after Randy dismissed him as a mark-ass indie nerd earlier in the show.
If Matt Cardona squints hard enough, I bet he can see all the shovels circling around his head. He should have just kept the name Zack Ryder for this kind of booking in WWE.
Now let’s see whose stock increased the most this week.
Stock Up #3: Penta
Penta has quietly become one of the best babyfaces in WWE. He recently won the Intercontinental championship from Dirty Dom, is getting some mic time to cut very good promos, and just had a killer match on this week’s Raw with Dragon Lee. More of this, please.
Stock Up #2: R-Truth & Damian Priest
R-Truth fully embraced his inner Ron Cena to win the WWE tag team championship with Damian Priest last night on SmackDown. The old Judgment Day may be about to take over the blue brand now that these guys are tag champs and Rhea Ripley is also there to challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE women’s championship at WrestleMania.
Stock Up #1: Oba Femi
WWE strapped the rocket to Oba Femi’s back this week on Raw when he showed up to destroy Brock Lesnar. Femi vs. Lesnar is now official for WrestleMania 42 in one of the most intriguing matches of the event, and Femi hasn’t even been on the WWE main roster for three full months. It’s very clear that Oba Femi is the next big thing in WWE, just like Brock was when he debuted in 2002. The most pressing question now is, will WWE actually book Femi to beat Lesnar in Las Vegas?
There you have it, Cagesiders. Whose stock do you think changed the most this week?
