The Las Vegas Raiders had issues with their star edge rusher Maxx Crosby to end the season. He was put on IR in Week 17, which led to him being a disgruntled player and wanting to move on from the franchise.
John Spytek was able to find a deal with the Baltimore Ravens for two first-round picks to trade Crosby. However, after a failed physical, the Ravens decided not to complete the trade transaction and sent him back to Las Vegas.
Crosby’s relationship with the organization has been mended since the trade
fell through. Now the former Eastern Michigan alumnus has a chip on his shoulder with a team not believing in his ability to bounce back from injury. On the Rich Eisen Show, former Raider Gerald McCoy spoke to Crosby during the Sack Summit and explained his mood entering the 2026 season.
‘He’s a little pissed off, Actually, he’s a lot of pissed off. I was just with Maxx in Vegas. He has a point to prove and Maxx is extremely upset and he’s going to have these guys on the mission.”
For the Raiders defense, a pissed-off Maxx Crosby could lead to a huge season from the Pro-Bowler. He already plays at 100 miles per hour every snap, and with the motivation, it could turn up to 200 every snap.
