Lucha Libre AAA is back with a new TV episode on Saturday night (Apr. 25, 2026). El Grande Americano teams with a legend for tag action, Fenix returns to the ring, and there is also a champion versus champion match on the taped program from Mexico City.
El Grande Americano is joining forces with Texano Jr. to represent Mexico against the Puerto Rican duo of El Mesias and Mecha Wolf. This will be Texano Jr.’s return to the ring in the WWE era of AAA. Texano Jr. is a two-time mega champion, and he holds
third place on the longest reign at 735 days. Texano Jr. is behind Hijo Del Vikingo at 833 days and Kenny Omega at 765 days.
Fenix was eyeing the AAA Cruiserweight Championship held by Laredo Kid, however, he will be in tag team action with La Parka against Money Machine’s Garra de Oro and Colmillo de Plata.
Speaking of Laredo Kid, he is competing in a champion versus champion duel against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., who holds the AAA Latin American Championship. There doesn’t seem to be any storyline reason for this matchup, and I believe it is a non-title affair.
For most of the world, WWE streams the show in English and AAA offers the program in Spanish in the live section of their respective YouTube channels at 10 pm ET. In Mexico and Latin America, the AAA broadcast airs at 8 pm on Fox, Fox One, and Fox Tubi. In South America (except Brazil), head to the Fox YouTube channel.
