The Buffalo Bills are getting a little healthier, although their injury list is rather long on Friday ahead of Week 5’s Monday Night Football game in Los Angeles against the Rams.
Here’s what we know after the second day of practice.
We have to remember, there will be one more session for the Bills on Saturday before they head west:
NOT PRACTICING:
- WR DJ Moore – shoulder
- DT Ed Oliver – knee
- NCB Dee Alford
LIMITED PRACTICE:
- CB Christian Benford – toe
- WR Joshua Palmer – shoulder
FULL PRACTICE:
- ILB Terrel Bernard – knee
- OLB Bradley Chubb – thumb
- ILB Joe Andreessen – knee
- WR Keon Coleman – ankle
- RB Ray Davis – hamstring
- S Damar Hamlin – rib
- OG Ar’maj Reed-Adams – eblow
- DT T.J. Sanders – illness
- LB Dorian Williams – hip
WHAT WE‘RE WATCHING:
At this rate, it looks like Benford will be on the field on Monday in Inglewood. There were no changes to the Bills Friday
practice report from Thursday’s, except for Palmer going from off the list to the limited participant with a shoulder injury. Hmmm.
Tomorrow, of course, will be huge for Moore and Oliver, although given Moore’s history, I don’t necessarily think he needs to get in a full practice to play on Monday. Alford’s absence too would create a rather difficult decision at slot cornerback with Jordan Hancock still on IR.
