Even after adding Jonathan Allen, the Cincinnati Bengals could still use some pass rush from the defensive tackle position. Between Allen and Hill, the two best interior pass rushers being over 30 years old this coming season, the Bengals can’t rely on them long term.
Even if they could, having more quality pass-rushing depth is invaluable.
The Bengals seem to realize that, and have reportedly scheduled a meeting with a defensive tackle projected to go between rounds 3-5 in the 2026 NFL Draft that could
be a real value: Navy defensive tackle Landon Robinson, whom the team has a top-30 visit scheduled with.
Robinson broke out in 2025 with an elite performance from Navy’s interior. He was one of the nation’s top interior pass rushers, finishing with 6.5 sacks. He is also a very athletic player, suggesting he still has room to grow as a player.
Robinson may not be a complete player yet, still needing to work on his run defense, but in terms of making an impact, he should be able to do that early on for a Bengals pass rush that struggled to move quarterbacks off their spot in 2025.
With more interior pass-rushing depth that Robinson could help provide, the defensive ends could also win more of their reps when the quarterback is forced to step back.
