The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off tomorrow! For the first time in franchise history, the Jaguars will not have a first-round pick. The Jags have eleven picks (for now) this year. Let’s take a look at the players most recently drafted by the team in those draft slots.
Round 2, Pick 56: DT Larry Smith Jr., 1999
The DT from Florida State played 31 games over the span of three seasons and made six sacks and 119 tackles for the Seminoles. Smith started in seven out of the 53 games he played over the duration
of four seasons in Jacksonville. He recorded one forced fumble, four sacks, and 52 combined tackles before becoming a Green Bay Packer in 2003.
Round 3, Pick 81: The 2026 draft will be the first time in franchise history that the Jaguars will have this pick.
Round 3, Pick 88: DB Caleb Ransaw, 2025
Ransaw played for Troy from 2021 to 2023 and Tulane for the 2024 season. His college stat sheet included 114 tackles, being voted Honorable Mention All-SBC, and named Third-Team All-AAC in 2024. The DT was added to the injured reserve in August 2025.

Round 3, Pick 100: The 2026 draft will be the first time in franchise history that the Jaguars will have this pick.
Round 4, Pick 124: The 2026 draft will be the first time in franchise history that the Jaguars will have this pick.
Round 5, Pick 164: The 2026 draft will be the first time in franchise history that the Jaguars will have this pick.
Round 5, Pick 166: DT Derek Landri, 2007
The DT played 25 games at Notre Dame, registering ten sacks and 108 combined tackles. During Landri’s three seasons as a Jaguar, he played in 35 games and recorded three sacks and 39 combined tackles. The team waived him in December 2009.

Round 6, Pick 203: QB Tanner Lee, 2018
Lee came from Tulane and Nebraska with 6,744 yards and 46 touchdowns. He was released in August 2019.

Round 7, Pick 233: SAFE Marlon McCree, 2001
The safety from Kentucky spent three seasons in Jacksonville. He started 27 out of 31 games played, and recorded two sacks and 124 combined tackles. After being waived by the team, McCree returned for camp in 2009 and served as the team’s assistant secondary coach in 2012.

Round 7, Pick 240: FB/OLB Derek Parish, 2023
Parish was the second Houston player drafted by the team in franchise history. He spent all four years at Houston and was named a second-team All-American Athletic Conference selection in 2021. The team released the FB/OLB in 2023.

Round 7, Pick 245: LB Danny Clark, 2000
While in Illinois, Clark was a three-time honorable mention All-Big Ten selection and recorded 384 tackles. He spent four seasons in Jacksonville, starting in 27 out of 61 games, and accumulating two sacks and 185 combined tackles. He signed with the Oakland Raiders in 2004.
