The #12 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish are in Chestnut Hill to face the Boston College Eagles. This isn’t, however, the Boston College team that the Irish normally have faced throughout the Holy War
series… this team is really, really bad.
BC has just one win this season, and that was in the season opener against Fordham, since then, the Eagles have dropped 7 straight games and are giving up almost 35 points a game to its competition while only scoring around 26 points per game. The Irish, on the other hand, are winners of 5 straight and are scoring almost 40 points a game while giving up just 21.
This has all the makings of a blowout, and most Notre Dame fans surveyed believe the Irish will cobver the massive 28.5 point spread.
HOLY WAR?
Notre Dame fans were also surveyed about this “rivalry” game. Like… is BC even a rival for Notre Dame. Most Irish fans surveyed do not consider Boston College a rival of Notre Dame… but it is closer than I expected.
