Bayern among clubs eyeing Gladbach teen (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
Is Bayern Munich taking a look at Borussia Mönchengladbach attacking midfielder Wael Mohya? Maybe… at least per this report:
🚨🔴 EXCL | FC Bayern have Wael Mohya on their list and are monitoring the 17 y/o gem very closely. Interest has also been registered on the player’s side. Nothing concrete yet.
Borussia M’gladbach want to extend as soon as possible – beyond 2028, including a release clause.
Staying beyond next summer only conceivable if BMG avoid relegation.
Dortmund, Leipzig and Leverkusen also
keen + top clubs from abroad. Winter move currently considered unlikely. @SkySportDE
Plettenberg checked back in with more information as well:
🚨🆕 Borussia M’gladbach aware that top clubs, including FC Bayern, are monitoring Wael Mohya and have him on their list.
BMG are already in concrete talks over a new contract beyond 2028, including a salary adjustment. An extension is absolutely possible, but only with a release clause.
A winter move for 17 y/o gem is currently unlikely. A summer sale remains possible if a XXL offer arrives, especially as Gladbach need the revenue.

It is normal for Bayern Munich to keep an eye on some of the Bundesliga’s developing talent, but it seems doubtful that the Bavarians are prepared to invest in another attacking midfielder any time soon.
United to pursue Branthwaite? (ESPN)
Manchester United could be seeking to upgrade its backline and is reportedly exploring Everton center-back Jarrad Branthwaite:
Manchester United are keen on Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite amid plans to make big changes to their defense in the upcoming transfer windows, according to Football Insider. United are among the frontrunners for the 24-year-old, and have remained interested since they had an offer worth £45 million turned down for him in 2024. Liverpool are also interested in his signature, but the Toffees could be reluctant to let him join a local rival.
Danks happy with Kane’s Ballon d’Or win (@iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich assistant coach (and interim manager) Aaron Danks was extremely happy to see Harry Kane win the Ballon d’Or.
“I can’t say that I was overly confident because he’s up against some top, top players, and I think the margin of winning was really, really close in the results between him and Mbappé and then obviously Lamine’s performances this year. So it was less about confidence, but it was more about working closely with him and seeing the effort that he puts in, knowing the journey that he’s been on to get to this moment. I’m just really, really happy for him,” Danks said. “As an Englishman, I’m really biased as well, because for me it comes at all different aspects, so I know the person, I’m really pleased for him. He gets that recognition for all his hard work, his journey, everything he puts into it.
“I see how hard he works every day on his body, on his football, on everything. So really happy for him, really happy for the football club, really happy for Bayern Munich, because I think it’s good recognition of this club and what this club stands for, and the previous winners that have come through here. I know Harry well, his full focus will be on his next goal, his next performances, his next games. He’ll be straight back into that professional, humble mindset that got him to this level. “
Kane’s level of commitment to the game is something that should be admired and serves as an important reminder — he didn’t just wake up great one day; he had to grind for it.
Chelsea, City monitoring Tresoldi (ESPN)
Chelsea and Manchester City are both keeping an eye on Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi. Tresoldi, of course, is still deciding who to play for internationally — Germany or Italy:
Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, according to TEAMtalk. Both teams are said to have sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old on Sunday, when he scored a hat trick in the 3-2 league win over Sint-Truidense to take his tally to 12 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions. He is viewed as a potential long-term Erling Haaland replacement by City, while Chelsea are keen to acquire a backup option for João Pedro.
Kramarić just keeps going (Opta Franz)
Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramarić is still a beast:
1000 & 200 – Andrej Kramaric scored TSG Hoffenheim’s 1000th Bundesliga goal and became the fifth player since detailed data collection began in 2004/05 to reach the mark of 200 direct goal involvements in the Bundesliga (201, 141G 60A). @tsghoffenheim

Real eyeing Mac Allister? (ESPN)
Real Madrid is reportedly contemplating a move for Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister:
Real Madrid could make a move for Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister in a future transfer window, reports Sky Germany. José Mourinho is an advocate of signing the 27-year-old, particularly admiring his physical presence and strength in challenges. The Argentine international is contracted at Anfield until 2028, with no concrete plans currently in place to extend. Madrid are monitoring his situation, although Liverpool would be expected to resist any approach for a key player.
