I recently met someone who didn’t know that the 2025 Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl! That’s wild, after such a magical run. While it may feel like Mike Holmgren and Pete Carroll did their parts in putting pro football in Seattle on the map, Mike Macdonald and team won a Lombardi Trophy in year two of their regime. He has a shot to make even more Seattle history.
Of course, national media is not always quick on the uptake of news and spotlight on the PNW.
For those living under a rock, as well
as those who want to both educate them, and relive moments of glee and glory, “America’s Game” will be recounting the quest to a world title for the 2025 Hawks.
Almost nobody had the 2025 Seattle Seahawks pegged as eventual Super Bowl champions, but they and their “Dark Side” defense put up historical stats, bucked trends (both organizationally and individually) and dominated on their way to a second franchise title.
While HBO’s Hard Knocks is chronicling their current title defense and back-to-back attempt, America’s Game will cover a Super Bowl champion that has already been etched into history.
