One of the best fit free agency additions was the Cincinnati Bengals adding safety Bryan Cook. The Bengals safeties were a real weak link on a bad defense and Cook was the best available at the position in free agency.
Seeing him all the sudden left off the list of top safeties voted on by members of the NFL front office is a bit frustrating and confusing.
While it is frustrating, ultimately it doesn’t matter that Cook is being underrated now that he is in Cincinnati. If he fixes the mess on the backend
then he is exactly who the Bengals need.
