According to a report from Eindhovens Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich phenom Paul Wanner is closing in on a loan move to PSV Eindhoven.
The rumors has been persistent of late, but now it is gaining even more traction:
Paul Wanner is closing in on a move to PSV. There are still details left to be finalized, but the club-to-club agreement is now close. Wanner is keen on the move. The deal could be similar to the one with Malik Tillman (loan with option to buy
and buy-back clause).
It is weird to think that this could — potentially —be the end for Wanner at Bayern Munich. At a time where the No. 10 position is up for grabs (for at least a few months), Wanner is on the outside looking in.
Bayern Munich kicked off its season with a win over VfB Stuttgart in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup, which gave fans some insight on where things stand ahead of the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and the Champions League.
