Based on the initial vibe of Raw’s closing segment, WWE is about to reboot The Bloodline by casting Jacob Fatu in the role Jey Uso held in 2020. In other words, he’ll likely fall in line under Roman Reigns before eventually breaking free from the Tribal Chief’s control.
If my reading is right, Fatu adds a sharper edge to the Samoan dynasty. But what helped Reigns and his family connect wasn’t just intensity — it was humor. If Fatu becomes the new “Right Hand Man,” there should be room for a fresh
“Honorary Uce,” a role Sami Zayn once made work.
For that, I nominate Danhausen.
Oh, I can see it now.
“Very acknowledgeable, very evil,” says Ucehausen.
Another new catchphrase could see The Bloodline leveling up as a result of Danhausen’s spells: “You. Are. Uced.”
I’m not sure how I feel about Reigns facing Danhausen, though. As with Zayn, that’s exactly where this would lead. Reigns would obviously win, but he’d probably sell Danhausen’s curses enough to make said contest feel believable, like tripping over his laces or having a complete mental breakdown as his ula fala falls apart while handing it to a ringside attendant.
Still, a comedy match from my Tribal Chief? I gotta think about that one.
Of course, Bloodline merch featuring Danhausen would likely rake in a significant sum of human monies. And we all know who loves money: TKO, WWE’s parent company.
I’ve had my say, now I turn it over to the Cageside Cosmos: who should reprise Sami Zayn’s role as “Honorary Uce?” It’s hump day, so let’s have some fun and get crazy in the comments.
