The 2025-26 regular season is over, and the Washington Commanders aren’t going to the playoffs. They finished the season with a 5-12 record and “earned” the No. 7 overall pick in this year’s draft. They beat
the Philadelphia Eagles who would have moved up to the #2 seed with a win, but now sit behind the Chicago Bears at #3.
The Seattle Seahawks(NFC) and Denver Broncos(AFC) were the best teams in their conferences and earned a first round bye. The other 12 teams will play 6 games that the NFL spreads over its 3-day Super Wild Card Weekend.
