With training camp underway, it’s a good time to keep track of where any former Jets are currently playing, so we can start to access how likely they are to have successful seasons elsewhere, or to lose their jobs and potentially become available for a reunion with the Jets.
We will cover this over two parts, looking at NFC teams today and AFC teams next week. Every NFC team currently has at least two former Jets on it.
As ever, this list is intended to be exhaustive, but if we missed anyone, let us know

Commanders:
The biggest names for Washington are linebacker Frankie Luvu and defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw, each of whom are on big-money deals but had disappointing seasons in 2025. Luvu was a second-team all-pro in 2024.
Tight end Lawrence Cager is also on the roster, having signed a futures deal, but Anthony Firkser was recently released and linebacker Nick Bellore just retired.
Cowboys:
Dallas obviously has Quinnen Williams among their ranks following last season’s blockbuster trade. However, he’s been joined by a handful of familiar faces on the other side of the ball.
Running back Israel Abanikanda signed a futures deal after the season and was subsequently joined by offensive lineman Chris Glaser and wideout Denzel Mims. Dallas also signed wideout Tyler Johnson in free agency and he’ll be hoping for a bounce-back year.
Eagles:
Punter Braden Mann and defensive back Michael Carter II remain with the Eagles, although Carter unsurprisingly took a major paycut to remain with them. Mann has established himself as one of the league’s better punters since leaving the Jets.
Tight end EJ Jenkins returned on a futures deal and the Eagles opted to take a flyer on wide receiver Elijah Moore, who was most recently in Denver.
Giants:
The Giants have loaded up on ex-Jets since the middle of last year, although most of them look like being role players at best. Safety Jason Pinnock, making his return to the Giants, might have the best shot at starting.
At wide receiver, New York retained Xavier Gipson after picking him up last year and another ex-Jet Braxton Berrios will compete with him both in terms of receiver roles and in the return game.
Two ex-Jets, Shelby Harris and Leki Fotu, were recently signed as a reaction to Roy Robertson-Harris tearing his Achilles and will now compete for a defensive tackle role.
Linebacker Zaire Barnes was re-signed and will try to earn a role on defense along with three former Jets defensive backs: Korie Black, Jarrick Bernard-Converse and Elijah Campbell.
Packers:
One recent Jet who could be a key reserve for a Packers in 2026 is quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
Their other three ex-Jets are long-shots with defensive backs Jaylin Simpson and Shemar Bartholomew being joined by recent signing Lenny Krieg at placekicker.
Vikings:
The Vikings recently signed former Jets safety Jamal Adams, but he’ll be competing for a role at inside linebacker. One of the names ahead of him is another former Jet, starter Blake Cashman.
Bears:
Chicago already had ex-Jets kicker Cairo Santos on their team but the addition of wide receiver Kalif Raymond should further strengthen their special teams unit in the return game.
Lions:
Having lost Raymond to their divisional rivals, the Lions replaced him with another former Jet receiver and return man, Greg Dortch. He has a good chance to make a team that will also feature former Jets cornerback DJ Reed on defense.
Safety Chuck Clark will compete for a role in the secondary alongside Reed, while quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and wide receiver Tarik Black were also added to compete for a role.
Bucs:
Guard Dan Feeney saw his contract expire at the end of last season, but he was re-signed. The Bucs also retained former Jets kicker Chase McLaughlin.
Saints:
Although Demario Davis returned to the Jets, the Saints still have one key ex-Jets player contributing on defense in defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd. Their only other former Jet is quarterback Zach Wilson, who is on his third team in three years since leaving the Jets.
Panthers:
Carolina signed former Jets receiver John Metchie III during free agency. They also have Claud Cherelus returning at linebacker, but another ex-Jets linebacker – Jared Bartlett – was recently waived.
Falcons:
Atlanta signed kicker Nick Folk, who beat them on a long last second kick in a 2025 game, during free agency. The only other ex-Jet on the team is Corey Levin, who will compete for a backup role on the interior offensive line.
Rams:
Wide receiver Davante Adams caught 14 touchdown passes last year and will once again have a role on a team that could be one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Another ex-Jet, Harrison Mevis, looks secure in his role, as the Rams don’t have another kicker on the roster.
Seahawks:
The Super Bowl champions will look to repeat with ex-Jets quarterback Sam Darnold at the helm and defensive tackle Leonard Williams once again spearheading the defense.
The special teams unit has a bunch of ex-Jets playing key roles as Jason Myers is still the kicker and Chazz Surratt, Irv Charles and JaMarkis Weston should all contribute in kick coverage.
Cardinals:
Arizona opens camp in 2026 with three ex-Jets on their roster: Running back Bam Knight, defensive back Isaiah Oliver and tight end Kenny Yeboah. Of the three, Oliver perhaps has the most likely chance of earning a significant role.
49ers:
Finally, the 49ers still have Eddy Pineiro as their kicker, again with nobody in camp to compete with him. Safety Ashtyn Davis will also be expecting to make the roster.
Quarterback Adrian Martinez is also back, after signing a futures deal.
Defensive end Bryce Huff retired and linebacker Milo Eifler was recently released.
