What is the story about?
After one year in Ann Arbor, Michigan offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey is leaving to take the same role at Missouri. 247Sports first reported this being a strong possibility on Saturday afternoon, but now it’s official, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Lindsey came to Michigan from North Carolina, where he served as the offensive coordinator for the Tar Heels for two years before heading to the Big Ten. He also had stints as the offensive coordinator at UCF and Auburn, and was also the head coach of Troy.
While things didn’t exactly work out this past season, Lindsey was still a creative play caller and improved Michigan’s offense from 2024 to 2025. We wish Lindsey nothing but the best at his next stop.
