Bayern Munich midfielder Tom Bischof is having quite the summer.
After rebounding from the initial disappointment of not making the German national team for the World Cup, Bischof has been on a burner.
First, Bischof took over the vacant No. 8 on Bayern Munich’s roster and now, the midfielder has secured an endorsement from Mattel and the game Uno per Tz:
Who’s the best at the card table? “Definitely me!” says Tom Bischof – and as of this week, he officially has one thing over his best buddies on the FC
Bayern team. Because from now on, whenever Lennart Karl and Aleksandar Pavlovic ask the 21-year-old to play Uno , they’re up against a real expert.
The partnership with the card game manufacturer “Mattel” was announced on Wednesday and is of course a perfect fit for the restart at the German record champions: Bischof wants to play as a strategist, on and off the pitch, with his new number 8 jersey , which he will take over from the departing Leon Goretzka for the new season.
Later, Bild (via @iMiaSanMia) added to the information:
Man, the Bayern Munich boys are little different than some of the other sports.
