The Los Angeles Rams have reached another important checkpoint of training camp, releasing their first unofficial depth chart ahead of the team’s opening preseason matchup. teams are releasing their first preseason depth charts this week, and many of them include veteran players ahead of rookies and younger competitors even when the practice reps suggest a much closer competition.
For the Rams, the biggest value of the depth chart may not be identifying who will ultimately start in Week 1. Instead, it gives fans a starting point for evaluating the battles that will dominate the preseason.
