The Cincinnati Bengals’ first training camp practice of the offseason had its fair share of drama.
The biggest news is, of course, that second-year pass rusher Shemar Stewart was carted off the field with an apparent knee injury.
Hopefully, Stewart’s injury won’t keep him out for long.
The second biggest story was a veteran corner riling up the offense.
Jalen Davis got into it with star receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
It seems Chase was really heated.
Here’s a clip of Chase tossing DJ Turner’s helmet and then Davis getting in his face.
And Davis got a mouthful from Mike Gesicki after jumping on the big tight end’s back and trying to rip the ball.
It honestly might not be a bad thing to see Davis bringing attitude and bite to the defense. In fact, he may be solid rotational piece this year.
On the positive side, Joe Burrow looks as sharp as ever.
