Preceding their big matchup against the Steelers on Sunday, the Bengals made a few roster moves. A couple were not surprising, but the Bengals are tweaking things before they hit the field in Pittsburgh Saturday afternoon.
Wide Receiver Andrei Iosivas landed on injured reserve after injuring a ligament in his thumb and having surgery. While he’s expected back in 4-6 weeks, it’s definitely a downer for a guy looking for a bounce-back season in a contract year.
Meanwhile, Cincinnati elevated linebacker
Joe Giles-Harris to the active roster. He is a third-year player out of Duke University and has bounced around the league a bit.
His first stint with the Bengals was back in 2024, but he returned a year after playing with the Jaguars. He was on the practice squad last year but was called up on October 30 and played in 10 games. He was on the team’s practice squad again to start this season.
Hudson was released by the team following final cuts, but promptly re-signed to their practice squad. He played in Week 1 against the Buccaneers and had a reception, but reverted to the practice squad. This will be the case once again following the conclusion of Sunday’s Week 3 game.
