Drake Baldwin has found himself out of the lineup a few times in recent weeks with Marcell Ozuna red-hot and Sean Murphy continuing to make starts behind the plate. On Tuesday night, as the Braves look to even the series against the White Sox, Baldwin finds himself catching again with Ozuna serving as the DH. Given the importance of Baldwin winning NL Rookie of the Year to land the Braves another first round pick in next summer’s draft, it’s good to see the talented rookie in there against righty
starter Shane Smith.
The rest of Atlanta’s lineup remains mostly the same, with red-hot Michael Harris II batting cleanup.
The White Sox scored 13 runs on Monday night to continue their trend of hitting the baseball well in the second half. Here’s the lineup they’ll send out against Bryce Elder on Tuesday:
First pitch from Truist Park is set for 7:15 p.m. ET.
