Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) held a press conference today (Thurs., Aug. 21, 2025) in “The Garden State” for the upcoming BKFC 82, which goes down Oct. 4, 2025, inside Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Six main card combatants were on hand this afternoon and came face-to-face at the conclusion of the BKFC 82 press conference festivities.
That includes BKFC superstar Mike Perry and longtime MMA knockout artist Jeremy Stephens, who collide for the “King of Violence” championship
in the main event of BKFC 82. Perry will be returning to the BKFC ring after a lengthy layoff, while Stephens returns to the bare-knuckle arena following a one-off UFC appearance.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight champion Frankie Edgar was also in attendance. He’ll make his bare knuckle debut in the co-main event of BKFC 82 against fellow UFC vet Jimmie Rivera — in a fight that has fans worried about “The Answer.”
In addition, the “Queen of Violence” title will be up for grabs as reigning BKFC Women’s Flyweight Champion Christine Ferea finally collides with Women’s Featherweight champion Jessica Borga in a highly anticipated clash that has a ton of bad blood.
