Some notes
- On Wednesday, defensive end Mike Danna (quad) and cornerback Kristian Fulton (ankle) were both limited participants. On Thursday, Danna was upgraded to full participation — a good sign he might be available to play on Sunday. Both were out for Sunday’s win over the New York Giants.
- Wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder) was also out on Sunday after being limited in last week’s practices. He was once again a full participant on Thursday.
- The rest of those shown on Kansas City’s report were also listed as full participants — including safety Bryan Cook, who left Sunday’s game with a neck injury.
- On Thursday, defensive backs coach Dave Merritt drew laughter from reporters for poking fun at Cook’s injury, saying, “We told Bryan that he needs to take more chances and be aggressive in his coverage… He should’ve caught the one in the end zone. He got up — acting like his neck was hurt — but he alligator-armed it.”
- For the Ravens, the injury report had just one change: Starting defensive tackle Travis Jones (knee) was upgraded from did not participate to limited participation.
- This means that left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle), fullback Patrick Ricard (calf), outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy (hamstring) and defensive tackles Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) and Broderick Washington Jr. also did not particpate.
- Without Madubuike on Monday, the Ravens gave up 224 rushing yards and failed to sack Jared Goff.
- On Wednesday, the Ravens added depth by signing defensive tackles Taven Bryan and Josh Tupou to their practice squad. Bryan is a former first-round pick with 11.5 sacks over seven pro seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts. Tupou is also a seven-year veteran. Five of those were with the Cincinnati Bengals. He spent last season on the Ravens’ practice squad, from which he was elevated for three games.
