What is the story about?
The Detroit Lions (2-2) will face a shorthanded Arizona Cardinals (1-3) as wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has been declared as inactive for Sunday’s Week 5 matchup.
Per Adam Schefter, the Cardinals are in the process of finalizing a trade of the former first-round pick. Details of the trade are not known at this time, but speculation is that the price will be at least a second-round pick and more.
This comes as welcomed news for a struggling Detroit Lions defense that needs a right the ship after
a poor start to the season in pass defense. The top receiving threats for the Cardinals without Harrison Jr. are tight end Trey McBride and wide receivers Michael Wilson and Kendrick Bourne.
