The Cleveland Cavaliers don’t have many games against marquee opponents left. Their showdown with the Los Angeles Lakers is one of a few exceptions — depending on how you feel about the Atlanta Hawks.
The Lakers have completely turned around their season in the last month, thanks mostly to the efforts of Luka Doncic, who’s put himself at the fringe of the MVP conversation. Los Angeles is coming into this game having won three straight and 12 of their last 13 games.
This will be a good test for both
teams to see how they stack up heading into the playoffs. It’s just a shame that both will be on the second night of a back-to-back.
