The NFLPA announced that the 32nd annual Rookie Premiere will take place next week from May 14-16 in Los Angeles, California. 42 rookies will participate in the event, which serves as a crash course on how to get acclimated to the commercial side of the NFL, as well as opportunities to make yourself more marketable.
Of the 42 players invited, the Cleveland Browns will have two rookies in attendance:
- WR KC Concepcion
- WR Denzel Boston
Here are some examples of things the rookies will take part in:
Across three days, rookies will participate
in trading card photoshoots, autograph signings, jersey unveilings, and a full slate of content creation sessions, while also taking part in business orientation led by union leadership focused on group licensing, personal brand development, and long-term income opportunities. The event brings together the NFL’s top incoming talent with leading brands, licensees, and media partners to build early relationships that extend well beyond the field.
The Rookie Premiere will not conflict with the Browns’ offseason calendar. Rookie minicamp is May 8-10, and then OTAs are May 19-21. After the Rookie Premiere concludes, we’ll have a full recap of the Browns players’ involvement.
