For the first time this season, Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. was listed as a full participant in practice, according to Pittsburgh’s Monday injury report.
While the Steelers’ report was only an estimation of practice participation due to the team holding a walk-through on Monday between Sunday’s win over the Bengals and a Thursday night matchup against the Cleveland Browns, it’s a promising sign for the star cornerback, who has been limited or a non-participant since the summer.
Porter was still
listed with not-injury-related/conditioning tag.
Running back Rico Dowdle was the Steelers’ lone non-participant, still dealing with a toe injury that kept him out of Sunday’s game. In the secondary, cornerback/safety Jalen Ramsey (wrist) and cornerback Brandin Echols (concussion) were both limited to begin the short week.
At the time of this writing, the Browns have yet to release their initial injury report for Thursday’s game.
