Barcelona’s squad for the 202-25 Champions League squad has now been confirmed following the close of the summer transfer window.
New signings Joan Garcia, Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji are all included and will be hoping to make their Champions League debuts for the club shortly.
In total there are 23 players on Barcelona’s A-list. Young stars Guille and Toni Fernández, Dro and Jofre Torrents are not
included but they could all feature as they are eligible to go on the club’s B-list.
Barcelona’s Champions League squad in full:
Goalkeepers: Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczęsny.
Defenders: Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia, Ronald Araujo, Pau Cubarsí, Andreas Christensen, Gerard Martín, Alejandro Balde, Marc Casadó.
Midfielders: Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Gavi, Marc Bernal.
Attackers: Dani Olmo, Fermín Lopez, Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Ferran Torres, Marcus Rashford, Roony Bardghji.
As you can probably see Casado is (weirdly) listed as a defender, rather than a midfielder, while Bernal (22) and Roony (28) have been handed new squad numbers.
Barcelona are set to open up their Champions League campaign on September 18 against Newcastle.
