It is not a surprise, and in fact the only thing that seems a little interesting is that the Arizona Cardinals are not bigger underdogs.
Our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook have the Arizona Cardinals as 5.5-point home underdogs ahead of their matchup with the Detroit Lions, who play on Sunday Night Football this week.
The Cardinals only being 5.5-point underdogs is interesting because neither team has looked great on the defensive side of the ball and the total reflects that as it sits at 53.5 right
now.
For the Cardinals, it’ll be a return home, where they have not won since September 14th of 2025.
You’d love to see the Cardinals get back in the win column, but more importantly you’d love for it to come at home for the first time in over a year.
It’ll have to come over a strong Detroit Lions team, and against our old friend Drew Petzing, who are averaging 31 points per game, while the Cardinals have given up over 30 in their last three games.
We will see how that works out.
