The 2026 World Baseball Classic begins in less than three weeks — Wednesday, March 4, to be exact.
That’s actually Thursday, March 5 in Japan, where the first games of pool play will take place. The three
other pools — in San Juan, Houston and Miami — will begin play Friday, March 6.
All the games will be carried in the USA by Fox. They will appear mostly on FS1 and FS2, with a handful of games on Tubi and a couple exclusively via Fox’s streaming app.
The Fox-TV broadcast network will carry seven games, including Team USA’s first game vs. Brazil Friday, March 6 in Houston at 7 p.m. CT. Fox-TV will also carry two quarterfinal games and the championship game on Tuesday, March 17. All games will be available for streaming via Fox One (subscription required).
Here’s the full schedule (open this link and this link for larger versions of the two images):

Josh and I will have extensive coverage of the WBC here. As you know, quite a few Cubs are participating so you’ll be able to follow along with them as well as the rest of the WBC teams. And, the Cubs will face Team Italy in an exhibition game Tuesday, March 3 at Sloan Park.
