Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft is about to start, and the Ravens will (as of now) be on the clock with the 45th and 80th overall picks. Here are the top targets for the second and third rounds from Baltimore Beatdown’s staff.
Offensively, I wrung my hands a lot about who would be my absolute favorite option at 45. I can easily see Chris Bell, especially given that LJ has shown interest in bringing him to Baltimore. His upside is elite, but the medicals still carry some baggage that I’m sure the team
is watching closely. Eli Stowers is a name I’ve seen linked to the team, and I’d be ok with it even if the price tag is a little steep just given the need and scheme fit. If the Ravens wait to go offense at 80, give me Logan Jones all day every day. If Malachi Fields is still there (he won’t be), I would LOVE that pick.
Defensively, there’s a crop of talent at the top of Round 2, and even though it’s probably a pipe dream, seeing Zion Young fall to them at 45 would have me doing cartwheels. I love D’Angelo Ponds’ game, but we’ll see if the front office would spend that high on an undersized CB with other major needs. – Kevin McNelis
The positions I’m focused on for Day 2 are WR, Edge, and CB. I would love for the the Ravens to trade up for a guy like Denzel Boston or Zion Young but that’s no the Ravens style. I really love D’Angelo Ponds game as an inside-outside corner with versatility despite his height limitations. I wouldn’t mind DT or TE either but I think there will be plenty on Day 3 that can make an impact plus the signings of DJ Reader and David Njoku seem to be on the horizon. Center has been the big focus for the fan base at 80 but I think I’m ok with grabbing whatever best center is remaining in Round 4. If they do grab one at 80, Jake Slaughter is my favorite for the Ravens. An interior line with Simpson, Slaughter, and Ioane all next to each other would be one of the most physical and nasty in the NFL. My favorite strategy for the Ravens on Day 2 is grabbing an Edge or CB in round 2, like Zion Young, TJ Parker, Gabe Jacas, D’Angelo Ponds, or Keionte Scott, then grabbing the best offensive player at 80. That could be a WR like Ted Hurst or De’Zhaun Stribling. It could be a TE like Sam Roush or Oscar Delp. It could be a center like Jake Slaughter or Logan Jones. – Zach Canter
I think Eric DeCosta needs to end Day 2 of the NFL Draft with additions to two of the following five positions: WR, TE, C, EDGE, and CB. A few WRs and EDGEs currently on the board stand out and could reach 45, but I expect some of them to come off the board early tonight. Chris Bell and Germie Bernard are fascinating players who will probably be on DeCosta’s mind if they’re available, and I think the same can be said for TJ Parker, Zion Young, and Gabe Jacas on the other side of the ball. I think that TE and C value can be maximized in the third round. Logan Jones and Jake Slaughter could certainly be in play at 80 to be the Tyler Linderbaum replacement, while Oscar Delp and Michael Trigg are names to keep an eye on for a possible TE addition. – Mark Myers
