So, it seems like people hated this past Thursday Night Football game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Denver Broncos, and it was a messy game, but here’s why I enjoyed Thursday’s game: I didn’t know
who would win.
I believe it was the Thursday prior where we saw the Baltimore Ravens just own the Miami Dolphins and it was hard to watch, the game was over at the fourth quarter, and Miami could’ve shocked the world proved everyone wrong, but they didn’t, and they lost as expected and as the game script suggested.
What do you prefer for your NFL games, higher or lower scoring games?
I’ll tell you what, I hate the Rams lost the New England Patriots 13-3 in that Super Bowl, but I loved how tight that game was. What can I say, I like me a good defensive game. Though, I suppose good defense means bad offense?
Please comment on whatever you want and have a great Saturday!
Pete Carroll Fires Raiders Coordinator After Ugly Thursday Night Loss to Broncos (si.com)
“In a significant turn of events following a disappointing 10-7, mistake-filled primetime loss to the Broncos, the Raiders fired special teams coordinator Tom McMahon, the team announced Friday.
Raiders coach Pete Carroll and McMahon had words on the sidelines in the midst of a frustrating Raiders loss that saw the team commit 11 penalties—including one that negated a would-be touchdown—miss a field goal, have a punt blocked and fail to string together consistent drives on offense en route to scoring just seven points.“
Rams name Harrison Mevis starting kicker vs. 49ers; Joshua Karty remains on roster (nytimes)
“WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. — The Los Angeles Rams are making a second change to the field goal unit that has given them so many problems this season.
They are going to start Harrison Mevis at kicker on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. They’ve benched Joshua Karty after he’s missed a league-high eight kicks so far this season. He’s had five missed field goals and three missed extra points, with a handful of kicks blocked.“
