WWE has to change plans again due to another injury on the road to WrestleMania 42. That’s because Bronson Reed suffered a biceps tear on this week’s (Feb. 23) episode of Raw, in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match that he may have been supposed to win.
Our latest Rumor Roundup indicates that Reed traveled to Birmingham, Alabama, after the show, which typically means surgery is happening or imminent. We’ll probably hear a timeline soon on how long an operation like that could keep Bronson out.
I would guess it puts his status in jeopardy for SummerSlam in August, based on how much time other wrestlers with a similar injury have missed.
Bronson addressed WWE fans last night on social media with an optimistic message. It sounds like the Tribal Thief already has a vision for how many Tsunami splashes he’ll unleash on the WWE roster when he gets back in the ring.
“Appreciate the kind words. Ill be back better than ever, causing destruction like no one else can!”
Do you think The Vision will still be a thing by the time Bronson Reed recovers from this injury and returns to WWE? Will Bronson still be pushed as a star who can sometimes defeat main event players like Roman Reigns? Give me your thoughts on Bronson’s injury and return in the comments below, Cagesiders.
