Purdue is situated up in the land of 10,000 lakes (11,842 if you believe the official Minnesota count) where Prince plays year round and you can find the headquarter of places like Target and Best Buy. Also, where I lived for a summer in college while working for Special Olympics Minnesota. A lovely place. However, today it’s all about business as the Boilermakers are looking to end a three game skid against three very good teams (USC, Notre Dame, and Illinois). Minnesota has a lot of talent but
they are young. They lost a lot of folks to graduation and transfers after last season. They’ve done a good job restocking the shelves though let’s not get it twisted. The Purdue offense has to find a way to keep scoring while the Purdue defense has to get some stops and maybe even some turnovers (wouldn’t that be amazing?) to come away with a road victory.

Alright folks, we are just about three hours away from kickoff. Can Purdue turn things around? Going into the season we said that October would be Purdue’s best chance for Big Ten wins. This is the second game in October and they sit at 0-1 this month. Today is a good way to turn it around right? Join us here in the open thread and look out for more to come on this one as the game wraps up late tonight.
