The news of the day was the formal announcement of the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight set for December 11, but Fury already has other fights in his sights as he says he’s gunning for a third fight against Oleksandr Usyk.
When Fury was asked about how he compares this upcoming showdown against Joshua to the ones he had with Deontay Wilder, Fury had this to say.
“Obviously, I’ve had three good fights with Wilder whereas it took me 10 years to get one fight with Joshua and it hasn’t even happened
yet,” Fury said. “After I beat this bum I want a trilogy, another trilogy with another man — rabbit’s teeth, who I believe I beat twice. I want it in America at Madison Square Garden, iconic, legendary stadium, and I want to fight him for the third time and I’m going to regain everything that I’ve lost.
“100% [Joshua’s] no more than a tune up for me. For my ability he should be a heavy bag on legs, set about him properly, get him out of there and then move on to the next.”
