Gonzaga’s Ryan Woolridge is joining the Team USA World Cup Qualifying Team for the month of November. The Americans will play Nicaragua in Managua, Nicaragua, and in College Park, Georgia, on Nov. 28 and Dec.
1, respectively. Both contests will be broadcast on Courtside 1891.
Currently, Woolridge is playing with the Windy City Bulls, the Chicago Bulls’ G League affiliate. The 29-year-old guard averaged 9.0 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in three games at the NBA G League’s Tip-Off Tournament.
He’s played in Germany, Greece, and Hungary throughout his professional basketball career as well as with the Oklahoma City Blue, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s G League affiliate.
