Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats are still looking for their first commitment of the 2026 class as we enter the regular season next week. With plenty of big names still left on the table for the staff, we now know that the Cats have made the final cut for one of their top frontcourt options.
According to Sam Kayser of League Ready Sports, 5-star center Arafan Diane has cut his list to five schools that include Kentucky alongside Arkansas, Houston, Indiana, and Virginia. We will be committed on November
19th.
Diane, a 7-1, 290-pound center who plays for Iowa United Prep, took an official visit to Lexington back in Early September. Now, while the Cats have made the final five, it appears this one is trending towards Kelvin Sampson and the Houston Cougars.
Now the staff will have to turn their focus to their remaining frontcourt targets. It will be interesting to see who they can land.
