The Cincinnati Bengals sure know how to irritate their fan base. In their win against the Baltimore Ravens, the team looked absolutely terrible. The offense was disjointed and the defense kept giving up explosive plays, especially on 3rd-and-long.
Ultimately that script flipped at half time. The team walked right down the field with Joe Burrow being as surgical as we know he can. It culminated in a perfectly lofted ball to Mike Gesicki. The offense would do that four more times in a row to score 35
points in the second half, which would be enough to win the game.
It was one of the more dominant offensive performances we have seen in quite some time, and that is the biggest reason Cincinnati fans get frustrated by an offense sort of running in place. They are capable of doing this kind of thing anytime the Bengals get an offensive possession. Obviously it is impossible to expect them to score every drive, but they’ve shown they are capable of scoring serious points.

Postgame Quick Hits | Bengals Heed Ja’Marr Chase Wakeup Call In Second Half Rollover Of Ravens
Chase has clearly earned that C on his jersey. There are plenty of great leaders on this Cincinnati squad, but Chase may be the most intense. It clearly changed some of the mindsets of the Bengals on the field as we saw.
6 Winners and 2 Losers From Bengals’ Dominant Comeback Win Over Ravens
Dexter Lawrence was just dominant. He finally got to break out the “sexy dexy” dance after getting a sack. What has gone unnoticed is he also helped stop the tush push near the end of the game by going over the top and grabbing Tyler Huntley before he could get any momentum going.
Jesse Minter And Ravens Explain Their Second-Half Struggles After Loss to Bengals
One of the most ridiculous stats the Ravens have as a team is they have a +65 point differential in the first half and a -70 in the second half. Minter talks a lot about riding the momentum too much. That could be true, but this has been such a consistent problem for them so far this season. You have to wonder if the mentality is all that’s wrong.

Seahawks ‘put on a clinic’ shutting down Kenneth Walker III, Patrick Mahomes in blowout win over Chiefs
There is no undefeated teams left in the AFC. That just goes to show how heavy the top of the AFC is still currently. There are seven teams with two or less losses. The Buffalo Bills are the only other team with one loss. That is just to say that the route to some sort of higher seed is certainly possible. The biggest obstacle may be the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns who are both 5-2.
NFL, players’ union working together to review handling of Jalen Hurts’ blood clot diagnosis
This goes so far beyond football. This should have ended with some being fired by the Philadelphia Eagles before there was any review put together. What happened was playing with the life of a player more than one time.
Raiders’ Klint Kubiak on Fernando Mendoza potentially replacing Kirk Cousins: ‘We’re thinking about everything’
You got to feel bad for Cousins. He will almost certainly be benched after the team dropped four straight games after starting 3-0. However those losses came against the Kansas City Chiefs, Bills, New England Patriots and Los Angeles. Two of them were extremely close as well. That is the nature of the beast and Cousins knew what he was walking into with the Raiders having the No. 1 overall pick.
