We’re in that slow period between the Super Bowl and the new league year where it sometimes feels like the NFL world has ground to a halt. And that makes it a perfect time to ask: Where in the world are our Pride of Detroit readers?
Over the past few years, as Detroit Lions fandom has grown, we’ve seen fans all over the country. We know local Lions fans travel well, and One Pride Nation has taken over several NFL stadiums since the team turned around their fortunes under coach Dan Campbell. But I
get the sense that’s not just local Lions fans traveling well. I think this team has a groundswell of support all across America. And given this league’s growing international reach, I know the Lions have plenty of fans that span the globe, as well. With an international game expected in 2026, the Lions’ reach is only going to grow across the world.
Now, to be clear, we don’t want or need your address or any personal details—sharing just the state is fine, or city and state if you’d like to be more specific. Same thing if you live abroad–if you’d like to just share the country, that’s cool, and if you want to share more details like the city or region, that’s totally up to you.
In the end, we just want to see which corners of the world this fandom reaches, and would love to celebrate as many possible states and countries that have been influenced by Lions fandom.
