Fans have been holding their collective breath a bit when it comes to the future of striker Harry Kane at Bayern Munich.
Of late, things have calmed as there have been numerous reports indicating that Kane will stay rather than exercise his rumored exit clause to declare he wants to leave during the summer. Now, there appears to be a timeline for Kane to begin new discussions with Bayern Munich on a new deal per Sport Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Contract talks between FC Bayern and Harry Kane
are expected to take place after next summer’s World Cup. Kane has no intention to make use of the release clause in his contract and is open to extending his stay.
The only question that remains at the moment is just how long Kane will stay? His current deal ends in 2027, so will Bayern Munich seek a two or three-year extension?
What do you think?
