How the Falcons’ schedule has shaped out looks peculiar on paper. They play five playoff teams in their first seven games. They finish the season facing only one playoff team in their final seven games, which is a team that finished with a losing record in Carolina. The matchup
against Carolina ends a stretch of three divisional games to end the year. It’s usually not ideal to play that many consecutive divisional games, but there are clear benefits to it when you are in the NFC South.
Based on how the schedule is aligned, Kevin Stefanski’s team will be significantly tested early on. Three consecutive primetime games from weeks 3 to 5 should indicate where this team stands in terms of its ability to compete in 2026. Even though the game takes place in September, a night game in Lambeau is bound to be arduous. Facing a rejuvenated Baltimore team in primetime will be incredibly difficult. Attempting to contain the 49ers is something not many teams can accomplish. There is also a home game against a Chiefs team with plenty to prove.
Which matchup do you view as the most daunting for the Falcons?
