The New Orleans Saints may have walked away with a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday, but there were plenty of positives to take away from their Week 1 preseason matchup at Caesars Superdome.
Former second-overall pick QB Zach Wilson had a very impressive debut in New Orleans, completing 11 of 16 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown while avoiding any turnovers.
WR Bub Means also had a breakout game, hauling in four receptions for 77 yards.
The defense also made its presence felt, with UDFA
DE Michael Heldman recording two sacks and three tackles for loss and UDFA CB Jayden Price finished with a pass breakup, an interception, and a 24-yard kick return.
