
Yizha wasted little time sending the Shanghai crowd into a frenzy.
Yizha faced Westin Wilson in a featherweight preliminary bout at UFC Shanghai on Saturday. Seconds into the contest, Yizha had Wilson in trouble, and continued to pour on the punishment. Wilson tried to survive, but Yizha was hitting him with everything he had, before Wilson was sent crashing to the canvas just 37 seconds into the fight.

Yizha entered the bout as the biggest favorite on the entire card, as high as -1200, and delivered for his first UFC victory. The 28-year-old lost his first two octagon appearances via decision, but also picked up five Road To UFC victories along the way. With the victory, Yizha now has 16 first-round finishes, and has stoppages in 20 of his 26 pro wins.
Wilson is now 1-3 in the UFC, and has been stopped in the first round in all three of his losses. The South Carolina fighter was unable to build upon his first UFC win against Jeka Saragih in his previous bout.
