Tennessee stays home today, looking to bounce back from a brutal offensive day last Saturday against No. 1 Texas. The Volunteers were abused up front by the Texas front, making life impossible on freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon. Both the offensive line and Brandon will be looking for better days this afternoon against Auburn.
The Vols will shuffle their starting offensive line today with veteran guard Wendell Moe out for the season. Sham Umarov is also banged up, so seeing what kind of push Tennessee
can generate today will be interesting. Not to mention pass protection.
Tennessee will be in their ‘Smokey Grey’ look, which this year honors General Robert Neyland. The Volunteers have changed their midfield logo to a throwback interlocking UT, along with placing ‘Carry The Fight’ in the back of the endzone.
Oh yeah, and Alex Golesh, Tim Banks, Kodi Burns and Larry Scott are coming back to town on the Auburn coaching staff.
