Jake Paul will take the biggest leap in level of competition when he challenges former WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO Heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, next month (Dec. 19, 2025) inside Kaseya Center in Miami, Fla., in a 10-round Heavyweight boxing fight.
This head-scratching bout came to fruition after Gervonta Davis was yanked from the fight against “El Gallo” earlier this month because of legal issues. After fielding offers from several willing competitors
ready to fill the void, Paul ultimately came to terms with Joshua, who is ready to end the traveling circus show once and for all.
Before the two get it on inside the ring, streaming live on Netflix, they will embark on a press tour to promote the event, kicking things off today (Fri., Nov. 21) in Miami at 1 p.m. ET in the embedded video above.
While the full fight card has yet to be announced, it was recently revealed that former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, and ex-Welterweight kingpin, Tyron Woodley, will co-headline the event.
Of course, both men suffered losses to Paul (Woodley twice), so it seems like it’s a case of, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”
