Bayern Munich’s training camp at Tegernsee ended with the routine drubbing of Rottach-Egern, which finished with a scoreline of 15-0 to the German champions. Vincent Kompany said he was very satisfied with the outcome of the training camp and that there’s more to come at a different country.
“I’m very satisfied with the training camp. The conditions here are great. It’s a tradition, we’re home here. It’s always great to come here,” Kompany said (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia). “Now we’re off
to Asia and will try to increase the level in this pre-season. We still have many players away, but the guys we have here are doing great.”
Like Kompany said, Bayern will be playing more friendlies next month on the other side of the globe. The first one will be in Jeju against local side Jeju SK on August 4, followed by a meeting with Aston Villa in Hong Kong on August 7.
