Good morning, it’s Saturday, December 20. The Cleveland Cavaliers are 15-14. Yeah, I know. It’s bad. They don’t play again until Monday.
Maybe that’s a good thing.
Today’s game of the day
- Houston Rockets at Denver Nuggets – 5 PM, NBA TV
I understand that some people hate watching Alperen Sengun. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been annoyed by some of his theatrics, as well. But the battle on the block between Sengun and Nikola Jokic is always worth watching. Not to mention, Kevin Durant is enough reason to watch a basketball game even in late 2025.
The Nuggets and Rockets will
be competing for second place in the Western Conference all season. This game naturally weighs more because of that. I’m hoping we get to see a full playoff series between these two at some point. But if that doesn’t happen, at least we’ll have games like today.
The rest of the NBA slate
