The Las Vegas Raiders are trying to be break a two-game losing streak against the Buffalo Bills at home Sunday. Here are three things to know about the 4-1 Bills:
Josh Allen is a monster:
The Bills’ quarterback could be on his way to another MVP season. He has thrown seven touchdown passes and has run for eight more this season. He leads all NFL players in rushing touchdowns. A week after getting shredded by Drake Maye in New England, the Raiders now have to deal with Allen. Not fun.
James Cook is also
dangerous:
Cook has ran for, at least, 111 yards in three of the Bills’ five games. The Raiders have had issues stopping the run at times this season. While Allen is the centerpiece, the Raiders most focus on stopping Cook as well. Cook does have some ball-security issues as he fumbled twice in a Week 5 win over the Rams. The Raiders have had success forcing fumbles this season. They will go after Cook.
Defense is struggling:
Yes, the Bills can score in bunches, but they need it. The Buffalo defense has had big trouble under first-year defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard. Buffalo has allowed, at least, 29 points in four of their five games. Rams’ star receiver Puka Nacua had 17 catches for 138 yards in Week 5. Brock Bowers could go off.
